Type Approval in Tunisia
The Centre d'Etudes et de Recherches des Télécommunications (CERT) in Tunisia is a government-backed institution responsible for ensuring the approval and certification of telecommunications equipment and technologies in the country. Tunisia CERT label requirements:
The following labeling requirements are mandatory:
Brand name, Model name, Serial number
Adding the Approval number is optional. There is no specific format for the label and there is no way to avoid putting the label on the equipment. To avoid any problem in customs or during market surveillance process, it is also recommended to have the same product identification in the product label, the packaging, the user's manual and the type approval certificate.
Frequencies allowed in Tunisia
2.4 GHz frequency band is allowed in Tunisia and is commonly used for devices like Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth devices, and other wireless applications.
