Type Approval in Sudan (South)

In South Sudan, the Ministry of Telecommunications and Postal Services is a government body responsible for overseeing the telecommunications and postal sectors. The Ministry's approval typically refers to any official permission or authorization required for businesses, individuals, or entities to operate within these sectors. This can include the regulation of telecommunications services, licensing of operators, ensuring compliance with communication infrastructure standards, and overseeing postal services within the country.

 

  • Type approval in Sudan (South) requires acceptable CE reports.

  • Lead time is approximately 8-10 weeks from the time all documents and samples have been collected.

  • Certificate is valid indefinitely.

Libya MCI label requirements:

There are no specific label requirements, however it is suggested that you use the CE Mark label guidelines.

Frequencies allowed in Sudan (South)

MTN Sudan uses the GSM 900 MHz (E-GSM) frequency band. This band is used for GSM services.
