The Communications Regulatory Commission (CRC) of Mongolia is the government body responsible for regulating and overseeing telecommunications, broadcasting, and other communication-related sectors in Mongolia. The CRC ensures that services are delivered in a fair and competitive manner while protecting consumer rights and fostering the development of communication infrastructure in the country.

• ​Type approval in Mongolia requires acceptable CE reports 4 years old or less.

• One commercial sample may be required. The local importer must submit the application and be the certificate holder. The service we can offer is to prepare the application form and TCF, send to the importer along with instructions for submitting the application to CRC, and then we can also pay the CRC regulatory fee on behalf of the importer. However, the importer will need to print the application form and documents and submit those directly to CRC…CRC has confirmed it must be done directly by the local company.

• Lead time is approximately 6-8 weeks from the time all documents have been collected.

• Certificates can be valid for a period of up to 3 years but validity is dependent upon product type.
