Cayman Islands
Regulatory Approval

Type Approval in The Cayman Islands

In the Cayman Islands, ICTA approval refers to the authorization granted by the Information and Communications Technology Authority (ICTA), which is the regulatory body responsible for overseeing telecommunications, broadcasting, and related industries within the country.

The ICTA's primary role is to ensure that the telecommunications and broadcasting sectors operate in a way that aligns with the national interests of the Cayman Islands.

  • Type approval in the Cayman Islands requires acceptable FCC or CE reports.

  • Lead time is approximately 3-4 weeks from the time all documents have been collected.

  • Certificate is valid indefinitely.

Cayman Islands ICTA label requirements:

While the ICTA has no specific label requirements, we recommend you use the FCC or CE Mark label guidelines.
