Minister of Post and Telecommunications Mr.Karim Bibi Triki has supervised on June 29th the ceremony of announcement of results related to the National letter-writing competition for young people-2024 edition, in the presence of the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Condition, the Minister of Environment and Renewable Energies as well as high officials of the government.
The minister has mentioned, in his address, that all parts of the country have been involved in this contest to discover young talent. He added this competition recurs annually as a sacred community event on the agenda of the post and telecoms sector in a bid to reinforce writing capacities and refine drafting skills among the young generation.

As part of the strategic goals included in the Government’s action Plan concerning the ICTs, set for implementing M. the President of the Republic’s commitments, our country has recorded a quality and quantity leap as regards connection to high-speed and very high-speed internet through giving priority to the “Fiber to the Home” (FTTH).
Indeed, FTTH subscribers’ number has marked an exponential growth climbing from 53.000 subscribers in 2020 to One Million subscribers early November 2023.
This evolution of FTTH connected households has been backed up by the improvement of the offered speed, up to 300 Mbps and decrease of high-speed costs.
