Type Approval in Chad
The Office Tchadien de Régulation des Télécommunications (OTRT) is the regulatory body responsible for overseeing telecommunications and information technology services in Chad. OTRT Type Approval refers to the certification process for telecommunications equipment and devices in the country.
In Chad, Type Approval issued by the OTRT ensures that telecommunications equipment such as mobile phones, network infrastructure, and other communication devices comply with national technical standards and regulations. The approval process is designed to guarantee that the equipment operates efficiently, safely, and does not interfere with the telecommunications network or cause any negative impact on the public.

Type approval in Chad requires acceptable CE test reports.

Lead time is approximately 8-9 weeks from the time all documents and samples have been collected.

Chad OTRT label requirements:
The label requirement for Chad are the Logo, certificate number and approval date.
