Regulatory Approval

Type Approval in Angola

INACOM approval in Angola refers to the certification issued by the National Institute of Communications (Instituto Nacional de Comunicação de Angola, INACOM). This approval is required for telecommunications equipment and services to ensure they comply with national regulations and technical standards.

The INACOM approval process involves testing and evaluation of products such as mobile phones, networking devices, and other telecommunications equipment to verify their safety, performance, and compliance with local standards. Obtaining INACOM approval is essential for manufacturers and importers to legally market and sell their products in Angola, ensuring that they meet the necessary requirements to protect consumers and facilitate reliable communication services.   

  • INACOM approval in Angola requires CE Test reports from an authorized lab.

  • The lead time for Type Approval is approximately 4-5 weeks from the time all documents have been collected.

  • The certificate is valid for one year.
